Enchanted Leaf 2024 Christmas Ornament - Bronze

I had the idea of creating a Christmas ornament to capture the magic of all the blossom trees that are bursting into blossoms and leaves around my workshop. This piece is all about nature, inspired by the small twigs and leaves that come to life in spring.

With its iridescent colours, the bronze twig brings a bit of that fresh energy into the Christmas season. Each Enchanted Leaf Christmas Ornament is handcrafted first into wax and then cast into bronze, with the iridescent colour created by heating the bronze with a torch—so no two are alike.

My family has a tradition of adding a new ornament each year, creating a collection that tells our story as we decorate the tree. This lovely tiny sculptural ornament represents adding a magical piece of the trees that live around my workshop to our celebrations.
