Summer Garden Charm Necklace - Turquoise

Welcome to the enchanting world of my Summer Garden Charm Necklace Range.

This beautiful contemporary one of a kind necklace features a collection of three botanical-inspired charms. The pendant has a hand-carved 3D daisy flower crafted from Sterling Silver, a Bronze Pohutukawa Leaf, and a beautiful teardrop Turquoise in a bezel setting. Each charm hangs independently on a central silver ring. The group of charms are hung from a 45cm Sterling silver chain.

The Gemstone

Central to this Summer Garden Charm Necklace is a teardrop Turquoise. This gorgeous gemstone's blue-green colour is attributed to the presence of copper, while the presence of aluminium and phosphorus contributes to its overall composition.

The name "turquoise" is derived from the French word "turquois," which means "Turkish." The gemstone was introduced to Europe through trade routes that passed through Turkey.

Beyond its captivating colour, Turquoise represents both in ancient and modern times wisdom, tranquillity and protection. It is the birthstone of December and is often seen as a symbol of good fortune, success and overall well-being.
